Well, after I graduated from Roseburg, I got in a car with my recruiter and went to Marine Corps boot camp. That was awesome. After boot camp I moved to Illinois and did the reservist thing while I went to community college in Champaign, IL. I was called to active duty in 2003 for the initial invasion of Iraq and again in 2004. I met my wife and two step children shortly after I returned from Iraq the first time and we have been together ever since. After those two tours in Iraq, I decided to go back to school and began studies at the University of Illinois in the field of Mathematics. I finally graduated with my bachelors in 2008 and began teaching math at the high school level. That is it in a nutshell.
