Many of the stories I could tell, I'm not very proud of. One of the most benign I can think of is illegally exiting the back of the locker room, bolting across the road to the bushes to head up to a friend's house. Right as I ran across the entry road to the back parking lot, a couple of teachers, probably returning from lunch, had to lay on the brakes of the vehicle they were in to avoid hitting me. I glanced at them, but kept running. They clearly knew who I was, but never turned me in.

I've worked the majority of my career in power electronics. I've about a dozen electrical/electronic patents where I'm listed as coinventer or sole inventer. I've written patents, as well as advised patent attorneys on pending patent litigation.

Me being able to bridge the gap between the various cliques of the time; being it hanging with the nerds playing chess in the study hall through to jocks via gymnastcs, the hippies/freaks via substance abuse, and badass types smoking in the boys room.

No.... I was too degenerate to build that kind of relationship with authority figures.

Uggh... making asbestos molding pills in a plastics factory.
