Brian - thanks for the great website!

All : It is so nice that we can have a communial place without all of the advertsing distraction. I would like to know what other think of it and how they would they like to see it grow. After names are gathered and most classmates are found, we can build the site to include memory pictures, before & afters, listbulilders (like song hits, movie titles, etc.), Reunion pictures and lots more! The site is a tutorial so if anyone has particular interest in web design, let Brian know.

My biggest hope here is to have an long term connection which stays current and creates a permanent place for everyone to find out recent happenings. Finding everyone has been the biggest challenge to date, and this way, I hope that we have a way of communicating those important updates : our joys, losses, and our own sense of "Class"! Can't wait to here from all of you! ~Melissa O.

For the reunion, I would love to see everyone's families. I would like to see a family event like a bonfire/hayride-type thing with activities for the kids so they aren't bored with us talking to each other. Just my opinion, but I don't know why we need alcohol or music to enjoy a reunion (they also increase the cost and limit the venue). We're all adults. We don't need to prove anything to each other, do we? The last thing in the world I would attend is some "hoity-toity" expensive dinner with the alcohol flowing and the music loud enough you can't carry on a decent conversation. Who really wants to dress up and be uncomfortable? I highly prefer the relaxed, come-as-you-are type gathering where we can be ourselves, in our own skin. Thanks for being willing to get input from everyone!

As I have indicated, I do not care where or what type of reunion we have. I just want something that everyone wil have fun with and at. There seems to be quite a bit of support for dual events with a family event and then maybe some type of "adult" night out.

I assume the family event will be in and/or around Rossville. So, we need some volunteers to host or locate the right venue for this sort of thing. Please let me know.

I think those are fine ideas. I haven't been to the Summer End Fest so this would be a good chance to go. Adult night I am also in favor of. I enjoyed being at The Trails for the 10th but I am biased because it is 5 mins away from home ;-) I think there are many other options if we look around. I would prefer to have something planned for inside in the event of bad weather. Just a thought...

MO - Did you really post that at 2:30 am !?!?!

errrr....yes, up at 2:30am! The hazzards of night shift. You know, I never was a morning person...just ask anyone with 1st period band when I would sneak in after Fred Albro went to his office (the janitors would signal me if he was still in the hall...he would stay out there extra sometimes to just catch me!), slide behind the tubas and drums! Good thing I was never good enough to sit in the front row ;)

I would like to see something that allows the children to be part of our celebration. The adult night would be great but for me it is more about the family's and how everyone has grown to what we are today. Just my thoughts as I want to see everyone again. Darryl Bol

If the timing works with our vacation back this summer (end of July), it would be fun to have both family and adult-only events. I agree with Michelle that having it during the Summer's End Festival would make it more difficult for out of town kids to be there. My son and 6 year old daughter will be immersed in football by that time (can't wait to see that girl on the football field!), and school starts soon after that. I'd still make the trip back myself, but I doubt I'd bring everyone with me. Brian, let me know how I can help with the website. I've done some work with other sites and am familiar with HTML. Cara

As everyone probably knows by now, we are doing two "reunion" events." The picnic at the Rossville Park from 11 AM until 2 PM is a family event and there is no alcohol allowed at the Rossville Park. The evening "adults-only" dinner is at the Frankfort Country Club. The per person fee covers the facility rental fee, appetizers, dinner, dessert, and drinks consisting of tea, water, and coffee. There will be a cash bar available for anyone who wants to buy drinks but the class funds are not being used to purchase any alcohol.

So anyone that wants to have a drink or two or more at dinner is more than welcome to do so. We are grown-ups now and if people want to have a drink, they should be permitted to do so. Those who do not want to drink do not have to and none of the class funds are being used to purchase alcohol. I think this is a very fair compromise and allows each person to make their own decisions.

Wow! What a great time yesterday was...Thank-you again to everyone who put so much into it. It certainly was a whirlwind day/night but certainly was worth the endless naping that was required today. Perhaps there should be a "You know it's been 20 years when...." section - I can think of a lot of ways to fill that in!

My mobile phone has been buzzing all night tonight as many send or post messages...what a great reconnection...I am sure that pictures will be coming shortly all long with the final versions of the Class Video we watched during dinner. The links to the candid and class photo's will also come soon.

In the mean time, a great thanks to the each of you and hope that you will continue to network and fellowship through the class site. Safe passage to all in the days and year ahead and we look forward to seeing the rest you next time around!

In those infamous words..."Happy Trails to You, Until We Meet Again...." :-)

I want to THANK everyone that put the reunion together. And Brian even living in AZ for all the time he put into this. It was a great time at both events. It was a relaxing event that made it seem like I had just seen everyone yesterday and not 15 yrs ago. I loved seeing everyone's family and I am posting a couple of the pictures on my page. Hope to see everyone in 10 yrs or before. I think it is amazing how may people grew wings and how far stretched we are across the world. Please keep it touch everyone.
