Darrell and I married in 1992 and moved to Hobbs a year later. We lived there for 9 years, during which time we had our 2 boys. In 2002 we moved to Rio Rancho and have been here ever since. Darrell works for Malloof Distributing, and I left my many years with BBV to go into child care. I only work part-time, though, so I can stay home with the boys.
We do get back to Roswell when we can to visit my in-laws, but with everyone's work, school, and activity schedules those trips seem to get fewer and fewer.
We were going to try to make it to the reunion, but plans changed and we needed to take a trip to Illinois to visit my mom. (She had a brain tumor removed a few months ago, but she's doing OK for now.) The boys hadn't been back there in 10 years, so we used up all our summer vacation time visiting many, many, MANY relatives! (And Darrell did it all with a smile ... I have such a wonderful husband!!!)
If possible we will make it down there, but if not, have a great time and hope to see you at number 30!
