Veronica Gary Johnson

AS many you as you know Troy and I was joined at the hip. We both enlisted in the US Navy after graduation. I served and met/married Michael Doster. I was honorably discharged from the Navy and gave birth to my daughter Paige. Later I went to Durham Tech and received my pharmacy tech degree and worked at UNC at Chapel Hill (Go Heels). After the passing of my father in '96, I decided to become a RN. I graduated PCC's Nursing program with an Associate's Degree in Applied Science May 2000. I worked at Durham Regional Hospital for 5 years as charge nurse, chemotherapy/neuro nurse, nurse preceptor. I have also worked with nursing home clients, Mental Handicapped children/adults. Currently, I am a Home Health Nurse providing care to clients in Person, Caswell,Durham,Wake, Franklin counties.

I will never forget the day that Marcia, Juan, Scott Caudell and I were in Ms. Beaver's science class. We sat(Scott & me-Marcia& Juan) in the front two rows of tables with electrical outlets attached to the tables. So while Ms. Beaver was talking to the class, Scott decides to insert a bobby pin in the outlet. Needless to say, a spark of fire and a loud pop erupted. I slid myself away from the table, Scott whispering," dont tell" and Juan, Marcia and me were laughing so hard we were crying. Ms. Beaver attemped to get answers but all she got was Scott red-faced and terrified and 3 fools who coulding stop laughing.
