LaJeanne Mangum Ashley

After graduation, I attended Meredith College in Raleigh, or "Little Roxboro" as we used to call it. Had 4 amazing years there, and moved back to Roxboro in 1992, after graduation. I have been married for almost 11 years and have two beautiful, step-children. I am in my 16th year of teaching. I was just chosen as a finalist for Person County's Teacher of the Year for 2007-2008. I have enjoyed the past 20 years, but can't wait to see everyone. It's been way too long since our last reunion.
As for interesting info, my picture with my husband was this past Sept. 2007. We were part of the studio audience for Paula Dean's "Paula's Party". Who knew that I would one day be on National TV. It was way cool. Looking forward to seeing you all soon.

I just remember all the good times that we all had at the ballgames, parties, etc... Also, remember Ms. Elliott's class when Ron Garrett wore his sunglasses and told her he hurt his eyes welding. It was only to sleep in class. Oh, classic Ron!
Also, many stories in Mr. Evans' Physics class. What a crew that was!
