Yvonne Stewart Delay

After graduation I went to school in Charlotte for awhile. I came home one weekend and met my soon to be husband. We dated for 4 years and then we married in May of 1992 while he was still a student at NCSU. A year and a half later our son Jeremy was born in December of 1993. I then became a stay at home mom which is something I will always treasure. We then bought our first home in Cary and in November of 1995 our daughter Erin was born. Again, I was still fortunate enough to continue being a stay at home mother. We then moved to our new home in Apex and after Erin started school I became a floral designer and worked in Cary in a Florist. In 2003 we moved to Medina Ohio due to a career advancement for my husband. We stayed for 2 years and we wanted to move home so his company moved us back again. It was so nice to be home. Tom travels a lot more now but it's worth it to be living in North Carolina. I now work for a Dermatologist in Cary. My son will start high school next year while my daughter will be in seventh grade. My God, where does the time go? Doesn't it seem like we were just there ourselves?

There are so many stories that I could tell but there isn't enough room. Most of them involving my friend Chrissy Tilley or Kendra Paylor. The time when Chrissy and I delibertly got ourselves in ISS because we were such angels in school that we wanted to finally get in trouble.HaHa Or Chrissy and I sneaking out of my house on many occasions and not returning until 6:00 the next morning. Or the time Gail Lowery and I walked out of class because we felt we were treated unfairly. Again an ISS was looming in front of me. Or when Brian Hager threw his book out of the second story window in Mrs. Gonzales's class. Also, senior skip day at the lake. Duke Torain got a list of everyones name that day. Sorry Kendra, your mom wouldn't vouch for you and you ended up in ISS. LOL And last but not least and we all know this one, graduation at the beach. (But Kendra you wouldn't know anything about that would you since you didn't go. Heaven forbid you take the time off work. LOL)
The beginning of the rest of our lives. What fun that was. :-)
