Chris "C.J." Weaver

I've been in Law Enforcement since 1994. I've worked in Raleigh and Holly Springs, and in Mount Olive. I work for the Wayne County Sheriff's Office now. I am an Assistant Cubmaster with Pack 34, I moved to Assistant because I am active on the Torhunta District Comittee and Thomas will cross over this Fall to a local Boy Scout Troop (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Cub-Scout-Pack-34-BSA/145584978918946?ref=hl). I am on the Mount Olive Fire Dept. (https://www.facebook.com/MountOliveFireDepartment?ref=hl). I am a Master Mason and a Past Master of my Lodge and sitting secretary (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Mount-Olive-Lodge-208-AF-AM/250711731634949?ref=hl). Lori works for the school system. Scott lives with us and is attending college online while working full time. Crystal had our first grandbaby in October of 2013 just three days before Lori's birthday. We lost Crystal in a single vehicle wreck March 30 of 2014. Thomas plays baseball and is active in Scouting. Everyone that has met me since 1988 calls me "C.J." only my family and old classmates call me Chris. Mama and Daddy still get the Courier-Times delivered wherever their church is and they own a house at Hyco, so I've kept up with some of you through them.

How many memories rush to mind if I simply say "Band"!

The night at Oxford Webb comes to mind. We were moving the big metal rocket back into Mr Cannon's little blue pick up when it dropped on my right hand and crushed my class ring.We used alot of ice and popcorn oil to get it off! Bette Parham's had to stretch it back out. It is still shaped like a rounded off triangle to this day.

Should I mention racing school buses with the governors "tweeked" with John, Joe and Kim?

I guess the statute of limitations has expired on all those "borrowed" yard ornaments and toilet papered trees and bushes. Can you believe people used to pay me and Rusty to TP yards?!?!?
