Bryce Leon Hicks June 30, 1960 - February 3, 2023 

Mr. Bryce Leon Hicks, age 62, of Person County, departed this earthy life Friday, February 3, 2023 at UNC-Rex Hospital in Raleigh, NC. He was born in Roxboro June 30, 1960 to the late J.B., Sr. and Mamie Hicks, a member of Mill Hill Missionary Baptist Church and attended school in the Person County School System. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death bt two brothers: Frederick Hicks and Gary Hicks. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Love Hicks; two children: Brittney and Brandon Hicks (Cheyenne) of Roxboro; two grandchildren: Kayla and Kayden Hicks of Roxboro; siblings: James Hicks (Margaret), Queen Date, J.B. Hicks, Jr. (Demetrius), Walter Hicks (Jackie), Doris Townsend and Herbert Hicks (Yvonne), all of Roxboro; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A Celebration of Remembrance will be held Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at 12:00pm at Cunningham and Nelson Funeral Home with the Rev. Brud Perry, Pastor of Jones Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Danville, VA, officiating. The family will receive visitors at the home of his niece, 761 Jones Lester Road, Roxboro, NC 27574.
