I was very sorry to hear about John. He is one of the good guys and he will be missed.
This hits close to home for Barbara and I. Last August our oldest daughter was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. She had 3 surgeries to remove the tumor and enough surrounding tissue to insure that they had removed all of it. She just finished 4 chemo treatments. After each treatment, the side effects were harder to deal with. She will start radiation treatments in about 2 weeks. Her prognosis is very good and she should be cancer free.
This has been one of the most difficult things we have had to deal with. An enormous amount of prayers and good wishes have carried all of us through. The medical team has been fantastic and helped all of us understand what was being done and why.
I also have to give praise and thanks to our family member, friends and all the staff and administration at the 2 schools that she teaches at. It would take me several pages to recount everything that they have done, and to share their generosity.
I will close by saying that there is a GOD, and we have been touched by his/her kindness and blessings through many, many, many, people that we know and so many others that we will never meet or know. May God bless you as we have been blessed.
