Happy Birthday Professor Janet!!  I hope your day (and the rest of your year) is filled with love, laughter and joy.  You did the best impersonation of Sister Bio that always had us laughing.  Just one "That'll do!!".  More importantly, you have a kind heart.

Belated birthday wishes, Judy.  I hope all your travels went well,  and the family is doing well.  I hope you are, too.  I still fondly remember you welcoming me to Shrine on my first day.

May the days be good and the cake and ice cream to your liking

Happy Birthday Kathy Poeppe.  I hope your day is full of laughter, fun and love.  Strange how we can live down the block from each other, yet get to know each other years later.  I'm glad that we have.

The happiest of birthdays for Kathy Glynn.  Thanks for brightening our outings with your ready smile, quick wit and enthusiasm (and not laughing out loud at some of our efforts).

Janet, many thanks for your efforts and attention to make our outings so excellent!!  Not to mention the terrific pictures!!  (I guess I just did.)  These Mini-Reunions wouldn't be the same without your diligence.  Thanks, too, to Lucia for setting up our dining arrangements, Rick Fournier for handling the golfing aspects, Larry Dupke for setting the "rules"? for our playing, making this a stress free event, and to whomever had the inspiration to invite Chris's sister, Terese, and thanks to Chris, himself, for buying the first round.

Mant thanks for the birthday wishes.  Lucia, were it not for your efforts and Janet's there wouldn't be anything to boost - thank you for you efforts on behalf of our class.  Yes, there was some golf involved for my birthday, one needn't be pychic for that.  (I've been told by those who know, that men are so predictable.)  OB, thanks for the cake at our class gathering - it hit the spot.  A Merry unbirthday to one and all.

Thanks for the birthday wishes!  I had a fabulous day, received lots of lovely cards, and texts (of course) from my grandchildren.  Plus treated by my neighbors to dinner out at my favorite place. Life is good in Traverse City.  I'm sorry I couldn't attend the reunion this year.  It looks like you had fabulous weather and a great group.  Why am I just learning that Kathy Glynn Seymour is Chris Frye's cousin??!!

Mary Jo VanderPlas Huntington would like you to know that her husband Bill Huntington died tragically on Saturday, September 14.

Bill was out for a morning walk - near their home in Carmel, Indiana - and was struck by a car.  He was taken to hospital where he died later that day of brain injuries.  Mary Jo and her daughter were at his side when he passed away.  Their two sons are with her now.

Celebration of Life services are still in the planning stages. So far this is known - The Service will be held at

St Paul on the Lake Catholic Church in Grosse Pointe, MI on either October 4 or October 11.

We will keep you posted.

Mary Jo and Bill had just returned from an anniversary trip to Europe.  Here is a photo from that trip.

Mary Jo, I am so sad for you and Bill and your family.  I was pleased to have been able to play golf with Bill for a few holes last year.  You have been blessed to have such a terrific partner for so much of your life as he was blessed to have you to share life with.  Lorrie is right - words are truly inadequate but my heart goes with you.

Mary Jo, my heart aches for you and your family.  Bill was one of the kindest men I have been blessed to meet. His smile warmed us all.  My prayers will be with you and your family.

I just heard from Janet Flick Stickel.  She and Fred are OK. Hurricane Milton passed directly over them - they had an hour of complete calm during the eye.  The storm was very intense for 12 hours.  She wanted me to convey their status to everyone.  They have no power, gas stations have no gas, trees down, none on top of them fortunately, nor their property, house still standing, a few tiles off the roof.  LOTS of plant debris.  Very grateful.  No idea when power will be restored.  I'm presuming that Janet has  her phone turned off most of the time to preserve what life it has.  No need to stop praying, though.
