I go by my first and then last name only, mostly due to lengthy last name!

Many years gone by to recount much right now, but I enjoy reading, traveling and trying new restaurants with my husband. And of course I delight in my three grandchildren, two girls age 12 (Marie) and 9 (Ashley), and a grandson (Ben) who just turned 2. We have five rescued indoor cats who are like our little fur family! I work with a rescue, but learned to say "no" to fosters several years ago, after cat #5 came to stay! So now I just donate!

I have been fortunate to visit Europe about 14 times, Mexico for maybe 7-8 vacations, and Puerto Rico three times. We've also been to Las Vegas most recently, but have been there many times over.

I graduated from Edgecliff College (now merged with Xavier U.) with a degree in English, and a minor in secondary education. Married in 1969. Worked for two years in a Catholic high school, then quit to raise my girls for 14 or so years. Then I worked in a nursing home, along with a few other assorted and random low paying part time jobs. When my younger daughter left for college, I decided to go to John Carroll for a masters degree in English Literature. That took me about 5 years, but it was worth it. I obtained a teaching position at Cuyahoga Community College and Lakeland Community College right after that. So, since 1998 I've been teaching college composition. My latest is that I only teach online which gives me more scheduling flexibility.

As far as Shrine High stories, I was extremely sheltered and shy when I was in high school. My one claim to fame in my eyes is that I never missed a football game, and due to that still enjoy football (Go Browns!).
