The path from RFH to where I am now - Chicago - was a circuitous one. Suffice it to say I finally found my dream career as a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Psychology at a small Catholic University out here. I'm just as surprised as anyone that the Catholics saw me as fitting in to their mission.
I don't have kids nor a husband but I do have a cat and a dog. The dog is a basset/lab mix like the one I grew up with and she makes me very happy.
I spend a lot of time with my friends and I love living in Chicago.
School Story
I remember every year dressing up for Halloween as a preppie, mostly to be obnoxious. A couple of years ago, a friend of mine threw a "Come as Your Alter Ego" party. After much soul-searching, I realized that my alter ego is that preppie girl I used to mock. The photo is attached.
