After RFH I went to UCSD. I graduated with a B.S. in Physiology and Neuroscience. I then worked for a while in a biotech company while I took the MCATs for medical school. During that time I got to experience our health care system and decided that I didn't want to be a doctor. I had struggled with depression since high-school and while I was struggling with what I wanted to do with my life and just struggling with life again, I finally found a therapist who taught me how to love myself and others for the first time. My life was so transformed that I decided to get my Masters in Counseling Psych. and become a therapist so I could help others live fulfilling lives and have meaningful relationships. I have been a therapist since 2000 and love it. I get to give back to couples, individuals, teens, and kids. I am currently working on opening my first of many centers.
I met Sean in 2003 and we got married in 2005. Soon after I was pregnant with Inara. I delivered her at home on New Years eve. Her name means "heaven sent" and she truly is.
