After graduation I was fortunate enough to attend Mt. Saint Mary College in Newburgh, New York for three years. Before my senior year my money ran out and I was forced to go home. As luck would have it Ellen Quigley was home also. We waitressed and had a good time and then moved in with Amanda after she graduated. At some point I realized I wanted that degree I had been working towards. About the same time I met my husband Mark(yes, truth be told at Donovan's) We got married in 1994 and I finished my degree. I got a Bachelors in Elementary Ed and History. We got married, bought a house in Red Bank and I got my first teaching job. I also got pregnant 2 months into the school year. After I had our second child my father convinced me to get into the family business, Real Estate. I joined his company, Murphy Realty Preferred Homes. In 2006 he sold it and my brother Kevin started his own company. It has been a great way for me to raise my 4 children and stay home. I enjoy living close to family and friends and hope the real estate market picks up soon.
