After RFH I attended Villanova University, playing Women's Basketball and graduating in 1992 with a BA. It was truly one of the best experiences of my life. Upon returning to FH, I enrolled at Kean College and earned my Teacher's Certification in Health and PE. During those 2 years of school I worked part-time waitressing while living home mooching off my parents. I was hired at Manalapan-Englishtown Middle School and I coached the girls basketball team for 5 years. Rented an apartment in Long Branch for 8 years. Got the itch to look elsewhere to continue my career. Ultimately, my goal was to teach/coach at the high school level. The timing could not have been more perfect. Remember Lynne Broten? At the time she was retiring so I applied for the position. Here I am 7 years later in the same building with collegues like Lanza, Wilbur, Purslow, Azzaro, Beaver, Brown, Reiser and the Russels. Along with my teaching duties I am the Varsity Girls Soccer Coach and an Assistant Girls Basketball Coach. I never imagined I'd be working at our alma mater but realizing now there'd be no other place I'd rather be in regards to RFH academics and athletics.
