I remember Tyrone way back in either Grammar or in High School, that he had such a nice personality, laughing quite a bit!
I also remember him and I having a conversation about stocks! He was also a smart individual!

I met Tyrone once I arrived at Knollwood for 6 - 8th grades. He had such a great sense of humor. He abused our Math teacher, Mrs. Gandel, every day and Nikki and I would laugh so hard tears would roll down our faces. I spent many days with him eating pizza, candy and playing video games at the Whistle Stop. By the way, how awesome was that place in middle school?!!!! One memory very vivid is when I snuck out of my house one night and Tyrone picked me up on his moped. We cruised around town making various stops at our friends' houses. Tyrone was a great soul and will surely be missed at our reunion.

I loved hanging out with Tyrone. We used to bet all the time in 8th grade -- whether Daddy Maltzman would have B.O. today, whether Mr. Wolfe (the principal) would yell if Tyrone called him "Wally", etc. In fact, it was Tyrone who made a bet with Mr. Mekenian on who would win when Brian Herman got into a fight with someone in the hallway. Mr Mekenian had to break it up when another teacher came along.

He was always betting, selling candy at a hefty markup, laughing quietly. Tyrone had a street wisdom about him, for sure. His parents, by the way, were remarkable as well--always welcoming, kind, warm, nurturing.

I think about Tyrone a fair amount. Anyone know where his older brother, Dennis, is? Dennis used to beat us up (especially when Chuck Shay called him "Denn-ee") but I became friends with him when I was in college.

RIP, Tyrone.

I have a lot of fond memories of hanging out with Tyrone and Dennis. Most of which cannot be written down. Two of the kindess souls with great personalities and infectous laughs.

Sam...to answer your question, Dennis passed away about two years ago.
