Class Prophesy

     One day as I was sitting under a tree my thoughts wandered back to the graduating class of 1953 and I wondered what all of my old classmates were doing and where they were living.  I fell into a deep sleep and this is what I saw:

     Richard Fenton and his wife, the former Barbara Parker, are living in California and becoming quite prosperous.  He is President of the Associated Nuts of California.  Wesley Rogers has turned out to be head bird feeder of the birds on Canary Island.  Lucille Ambrose, who operates a home for the love-lorn was gossiping over the back fence about our old friends, Bobbie McRoberts and Sandy Slavin who have given up all aspirations of matrimony and have entered nurse's training.  DeVere Kent and Kenneth Fenton, the two broken-hearted individuals, have made their residence in a bachelor's home instituted by Elwood WallDot Campbell, we see has spent most of her time in the Blackfoot Insane Asylum where she chases chickens and mumbles continually about the 4th dimension.  Zane Buckley is also there and he contents himself by sitting under a large tree reading basketball rules for girls which were written by the world famous athlete, Ruth Rawson.  Lena Rae Tracy is floor leader for the House of Representatives and is working hard for the abolishment of "Keep Thin Diets".  Larry Barksdale is head warden at the Idaho State Penitentiary and two of the latest prisoners to be admitted were Parker Arritt and Paul Bilderback.  They took all of the money from the Paul National Bank.  Shirley Anderson is running a fish store on the coast and is both selling to and selling crabs.  Carol Lee Dunn is bending over a tub, washing, to support her family while Russell sits on the doorstep entertaining their children by reading them funny books.  Terry Hunter is living in Texas and is the President of the oil industry there.  He and his wife, Nadean, are making millions.  Delores Freeman has become the first woman President of the United States, which was always her ambition.  Margaret Cameron is a beauty specialist and set up business in Kamima where her chief customers are jack-rabbits and rattle-snakes.  Dick Judd and Joel Whittaker are running a large casino in Nevada and Gary Crawford is the head bartender.  Lois Reece is performing in Ringling Brothers Circus as the fat lady and in the same act is Delbert Potter as the "Freak Contortionist".  Marie Stark is the new woman police judge in Rupert and recently sentenced Richard Jacobsen to 90 days in jail for choking his Nash on a cold morning.  She called it "cruelty to machinery".  Bob Buttcane sits around in Billy McGill's Sport Shop and tells stories of the 50 pound fish he never did catch.  We see that Billy is planning a trip to Africa where he is going to give the pygmies a few lessons on how to grow tall.  Jane Remsberg is starring in the Broadway production of" North Atlantic", a sequence to "South Pacific", and the leading man is Ray Smith.  Arlene Blacker was accused of using the U.S. oil reserves for her own pleasure and Catherine Bockie is on trial for divulging a secret treaty between the United States and Mars.  Keith Gransbury has contented himself these many years by writing detective stories.  One of his latest is the baffling mystery called "I Done It"".  Leland Sullivan is the world's featherweight champion and his next bout is to be staged in Madison Square Garden.  Frances Badger has become chief cook on "Cannibal Island" teaching the natives the difference between "Eat em alive" and "Cook em first".  Lois Crandall is Editor of the Minidoka County News, and Paul Beeler defeated the world champion tiddly-wink ace and received a brass cup from Woolworth's.  Ida Matson and LeNell Hough decided to become great missionaries by going to China and teaching the "Chinks" not to eat with chop-sticks because they may become cross-eyed.  Marva Storey has taken to Hollywood and become a great movie actress.  They say she's better than any yet.  Theron Wilkins has become principal of Rupert's newly constructed high school and LaVoy Quinn is head athletic director.  Lloyd Nickerson is pulling a milk wagon in Holland and Bill Sparks is head street cleaner.  Floyd Praegitzer is professor of chemistry at the University of Idaho.  Bob West is doing well in the Bubble Gum industry, except that mothers are complaining about their children developing buck teeth.  Dorothy Pickering, world champion typist is laid up for awhile.  She burned the tips of her fingers while speeding on the typewriter.  Theron Griffin is running a marriage bureau in Nevada and right across the street is Norman Bagnall sitting at the desk with the title of "Divorce Lawyer".  Gary Grace has gone to Mexico and spends his time in siestas.  He certainly hasn't changed a bit.  Leland Kime  is President of South America.  Nancy Pride is in Kentucky running a horse stable and turning out great horses for the Kentucky Derby.  Larry Olson is spending the rest of his life in prison for stealing peanuts from monkeys during "Be Kind to Animals Week".  LaMarr King has been appointed chief guard of the Statue of Liberty.  Jay Yost is Commander-in-chief of the Army and Anne McKendrick is Commander of the Women's Air Force.  Klis Coddington and Geneva Stevenson both have become confirmed "Men Haters".  I would say they have changed a lot from when I last saw them.  Kristine Sellards is President of Vassar College.  Lee Carter spends his time at the North Pole with his Igloo Construction Company.  Jarl Gibson is head girl's coach at the University of California.  Barbara Barnard is an old maid school teacher at the newly opened Albion Normal.  Bob Dalby is owner of the round-square ranch which was lost in the Mississippi River, and though he is now old and gray he is still searching for it.  Betty Charles is President of the Afternoon Tea Party in Boston.  Louise Coffman is happily married for the 15th time.  Shirley Orchard conducts a conservatory of music in the Kamima area.  Jim Poulton is undertaker in Death Valley.  Bobbie Robbins and Verlee Robbins are both tieing for the title of "Cheaper by the Dozen".  They are both married and have 12 children a piece.  Regina Rausch is selling sun tan lotion at Sun Valley and has a very "sunny life".  Rex Chamberlain, the famous inventor has come across an idea of having sole-less shoes.  Robert Rytting is traveling around taking orders for this new invention of Rex's.  Allen King is champion surf-board rider in the Hawaiin Islands and was recently given that title by a group of bathing beauties.  Curtis Madson just celebrated his 50th wedding anniversary and he had learned to compromise with his wife by letting her have her own way all of the time.  Louise Frieburger has become a celebrated author and her latest novel is "Back With The Wind".  Elsie Neiwerth, the girl who sings like a canary, is making a tour with the Metropolitan Opera.  John Tracy is a great photographer and specializes in taking "cheese cake" pictures in Hollywood.  Joan Kerbs spends her time reading letters as she sits, old and gray, in the midst of all her fan mail.  Vernell Maricle is stewardess on a rocket ship to the moon.  Frances Storey has gained much recognition for her ability for tap dancing.  She's replacing Fred Astaire.  Parolee Eppers has made great fame for herself by flag pole sitting.  She has broken all previous records.  Joan Rausch is modeling the latest fashions in Paris and is to appear in a style show in the U.S. in the near future.  Jean Nicholson, who plays the drums better than Gene Krupa, is opening at great night cllubs throughout the East.  Carolyn Yagues is in South America searching the jungles for a new kind of animal that has thus far never been heard of.  Charles Stuart has searched the world over for a partner and without any luck he has taken to the hills to become a hermet.  Vivian Sparks went to Hawaii to teach the native girls how to hula dance.  Donald Courtwright improved left-handed pencils and sells them on the streets of Twin Falls.  Cora Hilling travels around the world teaching people how to play basketball with a square basketball.  Susie Pollard is a shorthand expert and now is trying to develop a new method whereby humans and not only chickens can read it.  Jeannine Quane has a very prosperous business on the coast.  She designs bikini bathing suits.  Jack Ralls is Rupert's new police chief.  Phyllis Roland sells "White Rain" shampoo to the head hunters in Africa.  Floyd Hutton and Billy Jensen both work for the city, driving garbage trucks for $150 a month and all they can eat.  Christine Hymas and Janet Glorfield are still tired from sitting up til all hours of the morning writing this prophecy for
