 Passed away Nov. 2, 2002, following complications of colon cancer. Bill was involved with banking at First Security Bank in Boise and Emmett. After moving to Burley in 1965, he worked with Cassia National Bank and later opened his own floral and gift shop, The Flower Pot. After returning to Boise in 1983, he entered the insurance business. Bill was a people person. He loved to entertain family and friends at his home, the beach or the family mountain cabin in Cascade. He is survived by his wife Jean and children, Holli, Kim and Brian and their families.

Carol Dunn (Newcomb)
Bill was Russ's best friend and played a big part in getting Russ and I together. He passed notes back and forth and chauffered us in Russ's mother's car. Later we double dated many times with Bill & Louise Freiburger. We spent many happy times with Bill, his wife, Jean, and his family. We have been blessed to have had Bill as a life-long friend.
