The Roland family lived just up the road from us in Acequia, so Phyllis and I spent alot of time together. She had a horse that we loved to ride. We rode bareback. I would sit behind her and hold on to her waist. One time we were riding into Acequia and we came to a gate along the road. The horse turned into the gate and Phyllis and I kept on going straight ahead.
