Brian Ledet Brian Ledet, 55, passed away on November 19, 2012 at Huntsman Cancer Institute. Brian was born March 31, 1957 in Los Angeles, California, and grew up in Sherman, Texas where he was actively involved in both football and track and field. He came to Utah with his young family to work at Thiokol, where he trained and worked in Quality Assurance /Quality Control. Brian is survived by and missed by his Wife, Sheryl Ledet, daughters, Misty Parenzin, Deanna Leo, Lindsey Potter, Bobbi Atkinson, grandchildren, Zach Winder, Zoe Winder, Madelyn Leo, Meadow Leo, Kelsee Parenzin, Briggs Leo, and Campbell Potter, brothers, Keith Ledet, Craig Carpenter, foster parent Charles and Kay Davis, foster brothers Gene Davis, Jimmy Davis and Billy Davis. Preceded in death by his sisters, Debby Knighton, Denise Meek and Melody Daughtry. Known as Pop Pop to the grandchildren he cherished every moment spent with them. Brian loved music, self taught to play guitar and base guitar, he wrote songs and lyrics and always dreamed of having his music published and released for all to enjoy. He played in several bands throughout his life and was always happiest when he had a guitar in his hands. Just jamming! Memorial services will be held Friday, December 14, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Faith Baptist Church, 2430 N. Fairfield Road, Layton, Utah, 84041. Inurnment, Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road, South Ogden. Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. In lieu of flowers, contributions to an educational fund established for the children and grandchildren will be accepted.
