Children: We are excited to be expecting our 9th grandbaby on November 2nd 2014. Our other grandchildren include More…6 girls who are now: 19, 11, 9, 9, 3 and a year old. Our two boys are 11 and 4 years old. My 3 boys are all doing great with good jobs, families and happy! My daughter is busy with school and working! My kids are now almost 39, 36, 31, and 27!!! Hubby and I are retired and having fun!!! Working out and hanging out with the kids is a lot of fun! Life is great!!

I am really looking forward to the reunion so that I can see old friends and catch up with them. I have been married for 38 years and have 4 beautiful children plu three beautiful daughter in laws and 5 adorable grandchildren. I have worked for the SCUSD for about 35 years. I am having a great time in life and enjoy each day to the fullest. The last 10 years I have worked at Fern Bacon Middle School. Fern Bacon is an economically poor area and the children have great difficulties learning and staying in school. I have been mentoring and helping students, teachers, staff and principals over the years. Everyday at work I try very hard to make a difference in parents, children, and the staff's lives. Making even the slightest change or difference in their lives is a joy for me.From 1983 up to 93 I taught child birth classes and was present at over 32 births where I helped mom's and dad's get through labor and delivery. In the past 6 years I have attended all 4 of the births of my grandchildren.

This Wednesday it is my turn to host the reunion peeps at my house and I am very excited about that. We have made a joint effort with my kids to get the backyard looking really nice and having fun doing this.
Looking forward to the reunion and seeing all of you.

School Story:

If any of you are reading this and ever get a chance to be on the reunion committee, then do it. We are having the best time planning this reunion. One memory that I have is of Bill Hayes who was the "boy next door" who loved to tease me on a daily basis and he used to loudly quack at me outside when I would be walking to class. I was so embarresed by this but people would say that if guys make fun of you then they liked you!!! I remember how much I loved singing in the choir and the friendships that I made. I recall that I was probably the shortest girl in the school.

Our 10th Grandbaby, John Brooks Stoddard was born 2/26/17 and we enjoy every minute we spend with him and all of our grandkids!! Next fall we will have 4 in high school, 1 who graduated from college last year, a 9, 8, 6, 5 and 2 year old. Our hearts are full with all of the kids and we celebrated our 48th anniversary in April.

a hotel room for the night of the reunion. We will block off 10 rooms if we get 10
People needing them. The cost $189 a night at the Citizens Hotel.
