In a nut shell.
I met my future ex-wife at a party at Paula Zimmerman's (Swayne) home June of 1970. Married December '71, two kids and twelve years later we devoiced. I raised both my kids until my daughter was in her early teens and wanted to live with her mom. I was ok with that. I'm very proud of my kids. My son Brian is a member of IBEW L.U. 340 Sacramento and works in sound and communications. He gradutited top of his apprentice class. Brian and his wife Carmen have 3 kids, Taylor 5 just started 1st grade. Bailey 3 is into just about everything and Zachary born 12/08. My daughter Stephanie and her husband Tom, have Derek 2 and one in the oven due Feb 2010. Stephanie is a Corporate Paralegal at Intel.

I moved to Fremont CA in the mid '70s. I worked out of IBEW L.U. 595 as a JW, Forman and General Forman. Retired in 2002.

I started cooking competition chili in 1990 and competed at the ICS World Championship Chili Cook-off six times. I have enter cook-offs all over the country including Hawaii. In 1991, I started to organize events for charities specializing in chili cook-offs. So far these events have raised money for D.A.R.E., Meals on Wheels, Make a Wish, Fremont Fire Dept, Dr. Ernie Bodi's Cure Breast Cancer Foundation, Kiwanis Family House Sacramento to name a few.

I moved back to Sacramento in 2005 to care for my Mom. She passed away Oct 2008. I moved to Folsom to be closer to my kids and their families. I live with Daisy, my 5 year old Brittney. She keeps me in line.
