Anybody out there...?

Hi Dennis,

I'm here. How have you been?

Are you finding your way around the website ok?

I think you are the first to use the Message Forum. It must go out to everyone. Now the question is can everyone see the responses. That would make sense.

Wow, that is cool. I've been so busy with the standard stuff on the website I never learned how this feature works. If it does work that way, It would be a quick and easy way to ask questions about missing classmates, etc. I'll look into it more, now that you have my interest.

If you click on the person's name, it will take you to their profile, where you can leave them a personal message.

Thanks for trying it.

David

Hi Susie, Looking forward to seeing you again! Dennis :)

Hi Dennis B. I was a computer software/applications developer with DGS.

When a few of my co-workers transferred to CHP and CHP needed staff with my expertise,

they contacted me to see if I would be interested in tranfserring to CHP to rewrite a new system.

I responded and was hired asap in 1990/91 until the end of 2005 with 40+ years overall state service

with the last 15 years at CHP as a Lead Staff Programmer/Analyst at HQ-IMD.

I retired from CHP as a non-uniformed software developer, not as a LEO.

Bonjour, all of you---wonderful to be connected despite the distance and the years.  I'm so impressed by the dedication, the "pitch in and do it" attitude re connecting--and, as Bill Kelso has aptly put it--keeping our departed classmates "with us" via many in memoriam postings.   Bravo, class(es) of '63.

I'm certainly looking forward to the reunion in September, and am taking extra time off work here to spend more time with old friends and classmates.  Shall be staying with Karen Olson in Sacto (on Holstein Way)

Here's my email at work (none at home) on  Mon. & Wed.--if you email by Sun. or Tue. U.S. time, I'll be sure to pick it up:

diana.vicari@ritz.edu

Have a wonderful summer, everyone--and this September, "let's rock!"

hugs to all,

Diana

Hello All,

I'd like to encourage everyone to write an inclusive bio for the web site. We have the time to write them now and the time to read and enjoy them. We'll be able to catch up with old friends and get to know those we missed at school.
                                                                                    Cheers!

What a great 50th! The "old" energy that we had back in the day showed up full force at our reunion. Smiles, hugs and some kisses were
all taken and given with fond memories of yesteryear.
The committee out did themselves. It's so meaningful to know that you're still remembered and loved by your peers. These wonderful heartfelt memories will never be forgotten or foresaken. Thank you class of '63 and what you've given me.

So much fun to see people that I have lost contact with - even had a kindergarten reunion with Charlene, Bob, Steve and I from Bret Harte Elementary.  So nice to find friends who have married and were hard to find.  It was a great evening and I enjoyed myself.  Thanks committee for a great evening.

Thank all the ones who worked to bring the 50th reunion alive and it sure was.  Is there a place we can all put our photo's we took?  I know the photographer walking around will have some that will post but we do too.  I really do believe in all the reunions I went to this one seemed to knock down the walls and bring us all together, maybe were just getting older and appreciate each reunion more.

WHAT A BLAST! HOW FABULOUS AND FUN TO SEE EVERYONE.  THIS WAS THE BEST REUNION AND THE COMMITTEE DID A FABULOUS JOB!

IT WAS GREAT SEEING EVERYONE AND I HOPE THAT "YEARLY" OR EVERY 2 YEARS WE CAN GET TOGETHER AGAIN.  MAYBE NOT A "REUNION" BUT A SMALL GROUP.............OR A BIG GROUP.

DAVID GRANDSTAFF YOU ROCK!

Thanks to the Committee! What a display of teamwork,  smart planning, and flawless execution. And a special thanks to David Grandstaff. His website was a magnet and a key to the event's success. And so thoughtfully constructed and carefully maintained.

The reunion was a tremendously warm, congenial gathering for everyone, including the guests. Couldn't have been better.

Let's mark our calendars for this time next year for getting together again, someplace near the river.

That was a great reunion! Thanks for all the work it took to do this. I'm sorry I missed connecting with more high school friends. Next reunion may need to be for lunch when we're all wide awake.

Kudos to David Grandstaff.
