SHERMAN - Elton Wade Michael, 59, of Sherman passed away Saturday September 17, 2016 at Medical City in Dallas, Texas after a brief illness.

Mr. Michael was born October 17, 1956 in Wichita Falls, Texas, the son of Juanita Miller Michael and "Mike" F.F. Michael. He attended S & S schools. On August 13, 1982, he married Margaret Ham in Sherman, Texas. For more than 20 years worked for Dorchester Grain Company, Anderson Grain Company and worked for PCI Construction for 3 years. He enjoyed fishing and hunting in his spare time. He was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his father, daughter Misty Michael and brother Stanley.

He is survived by his wife and mother both of Sherman, TX; sons, Stephen Michael and wife Ella of Palmer, Texas, Jason Michael and wife Carolyn of Collinsville, TX, and Casey Michael and wife Tonya of Sherman; brothers, Eddie Michael and Randy Michael of Sherman, TX and Tommy Graves of Hendrix, OK.; and 7 Grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, September 23, 2016 at Dannel Funeral Home, Sherman, Texas. Interment will be in Hendrix, Oklahoma.
