
Jaci Stoolfire passed away peacefully after a 5-year battle with cancer at home in the company of her family. She was much loved by her family and friends and touched many young lives during her years in education as a deaf interpreter and then librarian at S&S Middle School.
She is well-known for her sense of humor, work ethic, and caring nature. Everyone who knew her well has a funny story to tell and her determination to stay strong during her fight with cancer has been an inspiration to everyone.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, John Stoolfire and their children, Jessica and Mark Stoolfire. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Maddox and Perri Stoolfire, her mother, Eula Dickey, her sisters, Judy Barnes and Jane Barnett, brothers-in-law, Max Bates and Jerry Barnes, and all of her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Deward Dickey, eldest sister, JoJuanna Bates, and brother-in-law, Tommy Barnett.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Thursday, Oct. 27th, at Waldo Funeral Home chapel with Frank Steele officiating. All are welcome to attend.
