I finally graduated!!! I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Tarleton State University Dec. 2008. I am currently sub-teaching in our local school district, I thought I might like teaching so I decided to try it out this way first. I am also a leader with our youth girls 7th - 12th grade, missionary group at our church, called Acteens along with teaching Sunday school to 7th and 8th grade girls. I am also the cheer coach for my daughters cheer team, 5th and 6th graders. My husband Jay runs the family 'mini-storage' business and stays busy helping with the kids, he also stays busy working on his for fun cars, he has a 54 MG TD, a 79 MG B, and a 73 CJ 5. He and his dad built the 54 MG as a senior project when he was in highschool and as his graduation present, and we still enjoy it today. Brian, my oldest works full time at Lowes, and is also a volunteer fire fighter for our local FD, he made rookie of the year for 2008 and is now working on becoming and Emt and later a paramedic and even later still a full time fire fighter. T.Jay is in the sixth grade and Marie is in the fifth. T.Jay plays basketball for a christain organization that our church sponsors called Upwards, Marie is a cheerleader for that same organization.
After S&S I went to Collin County Community College were I was certified in general office procedures. I didn't like that so I went to Cosmetology school, my grant was pulled because of lack of funding from the state, and I never went back to finish that. I then went to Truck Driving school and went on to drive a truck for CFI out of Joplin, MO, and it was at that company were I met my hubby,we got married, I came off the road and became a fleet manager for 6 months until I became prego, and then became a stay at home mom. Then after all my kids were in school I decided to go back to school again. I went to Weatherford College and received my Associates degree in General Studies/Psychology in 2006, then I went to Tarleton State University where I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise and Sport Studies in 2008.
