Just to update everyone on what I have been doing the last decade or so besides the normal activities of the ministry at St. Pauls: 2 things that have taken a large part of my spare time over the past decade has been the building of a house/cabin at Higgins Lake. I had a carpenter frame the cabin and have finished the rest of it with a couple of exceptions--I dont do plumbing and I didnt FINISH the drywall. The main building was built and finished in 2003 and a 28 by 40 garage was added in 2004. I am glad that it is finished for the most part. Although I am contemplating an addition in the near future.
The other thing that has taken the rest of my off hours is my service to the Allegan County Sheriffs Department. I started out with the Reserve Division and became a deputy after 13 weeks of an academy and have now over the years ascended to the rank of Sergeant and a member of the supervisory staff. I have also been invited and have come a deputy for the Marine/Snowmobile division of the departement and currently am a part of our county's snowmobile team. I have really enjoyed getting out of Hopkins and dealing with another "family" besides my church family....

Went to school NWC and more school WLS and then finally got out of school at age 25 after having been in school for 21 of my 25 years. Then got assigned to go back to school as a tutor for 2 more years (MLPS) Finally got out and was assigned to a mission congregation in Kearney, NE. Took a Call to an exploratory congregation in Roswell, NM and after 6 years they decided to pull manpower and was put out on waivers. Picked up by St. Paul's in Hopkins where we have been ever since (Spring 1993)
