Shannon was born in Salem, Oregon and graduated from South Salem High School in 1969. After high school, she worked in the accounting office of VIPS Restaurants. Shannon was married in 1981 to Nicholas (Nick) Fisher and they soon moved to southern California. She has resided in Yucaipa, CA for the past eight years. In 1991, Shannon started her own business, Caseys Professional Cleaning Service, and maintained that business up until last summer when her battle with Multiple Myeloma Cancer and COPD forced her to retire the business. At the age of six, Shannon began piano lessons. Music became a passion with her and she became a very accomplished pianist and enjoyed playing her music for others to enjoy. She especially enjoyed the pop tunes of the 1940's, 50's and 60's era. Shannon is survived by her sister, Deanna Richardson, her brothers, Mike Casey, Chris Casey, Jeff Casey, and her "best friend" and loveable dog, Tawny. Even though they had divorced, Nick was very attentive to Shannon during her illness and by her side in the final few days.
