Carol was a great softball player! She could really slug the ball! And she consistently had a smile/laugh during PE class. I'm sorry to see she has passed. Carol was always a friendly person who was a little shy it seems.
When I went to work for the State of Oregon way back in 1985 Carol was working in the same department. She welcomed me and we became fast friends. She was a very talented graphic artist, and crafty and artistic in general.
Carol and I, along with another co-worker who to this day is a dear friend (Kathy Nehrkorn) had some epic shopping trips and were known as the 3 amigos at work. We spent every coffee break and lunch time walking down to Meier & Frank to check out the sales.
Carol spent a couple years battling cancer, but eventually lost her battle in 2014. Carol left behind her husband and 2 great sons and some grandchildren that she adored.

I sure do miss her.
