OMG. I just found Sid's notes to me in my JUNIOR high annual. He laughed and teased a lot, and a heart of gold.

Sid was one of the first people in HS to get their driver's license. He had this blue 1965 mustang fastback - and did he love that car AND LOVE TO TALK ABOUT IT ALL OF THE TIME! that's OK everyone loved cars back then. He was a tremendous athlete and played quarterback with Jerry Houck in HS. They both had great "arms". Toward the end of Sid's life - he came down to Ashland for "Skiesta". I was living with Ralph Jackson's cousin Bruce - going to college. He came down with 20 or so SSHS alums and virtually EVERYONE stayed at our tiny little house. Sid did not ski - but definately enjoyed hanging out with everyone that week-end. Afterward - we all commented on what a great attitude he had - right up to the end. That was the last time I saw him.
