Robin Rummell Filley

After High School, I was trained in medical secretarial and dog grooming. Terry Filley and I got married in 1971. He has been in electonics TV etc. and now satellite and products etc. We have five children. I had a childcare business for 25 years. After taking office automation at a private career school, I phased out my childcare business; and started working for the State of Oregon in 1999. Now I provide office support and AV assistance and solutions at Department of Education!

Terry and I celebrated our 38th wedding anniversary--we went to France in June!

We also go to the JW Kingdom Hall, and preach the "Good News of the Kingdom" to all those who will listen!

Terry and I will be attending both days of the reunion. See you there!

In my senior year, I had Phyllis Quanbeck for my English teacher. She encouraged me to continue writing and she sparked my thirst for spiritual knowlege. I never forgot her as a teacher her wisdom and influence--how she could engage students in drama and the arts to strive for excellence and explore beyond.

I have had the privilege to meet Mrs. Quanbeck again at the Department of Education and set up AV equipment for her meetings. She worked on many projects. She sure was needed around there! What an inspiring, intelligent, and busy lady! I still visit her from time to time!
