I attended UC Santa Barbara and graduated with BA Business Economics in 1992. I went to work right out of UCSB for the California State Board of Equalization from 1992 - 1999 in Ventura, California as a field auditor. While on assignment on one of my many audits I met the love of my life in 1993. Rob and I married in 1997 and just celebrated our 10th anniversary in 2007.
I left the State in 1999 after almost 8 years to work in public accounting at Arthur Andersen in downtown Los Angeles from 1999 - 2002. After Andersen's tragic demise, I went to work for KPMG for 3 short years and in 2005 went to work as a Senior Manager for True Partners Consulting (start up Tax Consulting Firm) as employee #12 - also in down town LA. In 2009 I was admitted as a partner to the firm and I am enjoying being and owner of an outstanding company that has grown from 5 employees to 225 in just 3 1/2 years.
Rob and I have never had children of our own, but I have a wonderful step-daughter, Samantha (20 years old). She was just 4 years old when I met Rob and we've enjoyed all of the pleasures of elementary school, puberty, high school, driving lessons, college entrance exams, and much more....
Robert and I enjoy traveling, outdoor and motor sports activities in our spare time - namely club activities in our 1997 Dodge Viper.
