I graduated from CSU, Chico with my B.A. in Psychology. In 1994, I moved to Orlando, Florida to work for Walt Disney World.
I started out working at the front desk of one of their resorts, and now I'm the manager of the team that handles all internal communications for employees in our Operations areas (theme parks, resorts, water parks, transportation, etc.).
I am also the President of PRIDE, the diversity resource group for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and ally employees at Walt Disney World, which also keeps me very busy both at work and in the community.
I met my partner Richard in 2001 and we live in downtown Orlando. We enjoy travel, theater, film, art and spending time with our friends. Richard's family is in Texas and mine is in California, so we don't get to see them that often.
Outside of my day job, I'm currently working on a collection of original poetry and am applying for graduate school to pursue an MFA in Creative Writing.
I've been fairly disconnected from those I knew in high school, so I'm excited about this site and having the chance to re-connect with others from, dare I say, "the old days."
