Traci Horton Sickels

Hartnell 2 years, got AA, moved to Fresno and went to Fresno State, graduated in 1995 w/ teaching cred. Married John in 1995. Had a son, Dallas, in 2001.He was diagnosed with high functioning autism in 2006. (That has been a very difficult road to travel if any of you are on that road now, I understand...please email me.1 out of every 150 kids will be diagnosed now...) Moved out of Ca summer of 2006 before the housing market crashed(yeah,$$) and was able to relocate to Northwest Arkansas. Started teaching here and just had a baby this year after trying for 5 years. I guess the Natural State was perfect for us! Had a baby girl, Presli Jordin on Feb. 1, 2008 and have now decided 2 kids is enough, and that I am too old to have anymore!! Still teaching and going after my masters to be a principal.

Can't believe it has been that long...Yikes! Remember toilet papering SHS and almost getting arrested night before graduation for it, cruising Main and going to Northridge Mall at lunch, who would think the Bagel Bakery or Chick-fil-A would be so good. Remembering wearing a guys jersey to the games, thinkin' I was cool(how dumb was that...)I remember fainting on the gym floor during the blood drive and not even giving blood but helping during Leadership class. I remember Mr. Roach in math, he was funny. and Mr. Leupold in Spanish...I vaguely remember my English teacher(the Scarlet Letter), and speech teacher, but remember giving a speech on "How To Milk A Cow", which of course the guys thought was funny .,Mrs. Bea with Red Ribbon and Sober Grad at Laguna Seca, and where was our prom? Ft. Ord? that was crazy and weird to check in...Sure miss being young with no worries or bills. North Salinas High was a great school and I will always remember the days of no stress and lots of fun!
