It took some time but I managed to move from one side of the USA to the other and found it to be much like California in many different ways but yet unique to Florida. I love it here and will stay here until I die. Worked mostley in the restaurant business for many of the years and finally went back to school to get my AS in Networking. Landed a decent job with a electronic fingerprinting company out of West Palm Beach and now I travel all over the U.S. on a weekly basis coming home only for weekends and holidays. I have seen alot and I have done alot since '88 and am happy now married to a beautiful woman from Oklahoma and we are expecting our first child in June.
