I went to Western Michigan University and graduated in 1995 ith a degree in Printing - if you knew me, you know I took three years of graphic arts in high school, so it was a natural transition for me. Of course, I had one job in the printing industry before becoming a computer programmer - I'd always been the computer type so it was even more natural. I've been doing web development now for over 10 years.

I got married in 1997 to Adrienne Miller, a Pioneer High grad from 1988. We met through mutual friends, and moved to North Carolina in 1998 for better jobs, cheaper housing, and better weather. We love it here, I don't miss the cold, though it would be nice to get a little more snow once in a while!

Uber-nerd? Maybe. I think I did a pretty good job in high school of staying under the radar for the most part. My favorite memories from high school were hanging out in the library with my friends every morning - Rob Haeske, Jarrod Van Kirk, Amanda Ford-Ballenger were among the most common participants at that morning ritual. I didn't play any sports but always enjoyed a good football game, and I did stuff like the 1989 prom committee, float building every year, etc.
