I was new to East High having come from Granite High in my Junior year and Norm was one that welcomed me aboard.  Utah Science Fiction League and the rocket sociaty.  Norm was always there for me.  I have very fond memories of all of us hanging out with Bruce Phillips, Gary Slatter and Norris Perry.

Norm was a very good man and though we seldom communicated the warm memories I have of him and his parents will stay with me forever.  Writing poetryy together in Yellowstone with a group of other Yellowstone summer help, riding in Norris's Allstate auto in the summer time..  Norm had a great collection, going back to the first, Payboy magizines.

Ah thoses were the days

Sleep well my friend, for we will all get there in time.

Best

Gerard

Sorry to hear of Norman's departure. We were both, along with my twin brother David, and Bill Tanner, Volunteers in the Utah Air National Guard. We spent time in Idaho Summer camps, and for some reason, that I can't undestand, our unit that was trained and well supplied with fighter jets and pilots, was not called up to the Korean War. Thank You Universe! That was a particularly freezing, gnarly, politically unproductive war. Thousands of US soldiers died, many simply froze to death! God Speed Norman, save us a good spot.

Who has, or where are his dangerous "Playboy" collections? We, I, should whisk them up, and (?) them, before they fall into young, unscruplous, or tender hands. We may need them for my anatomy scupture class.
