My longtime friend Larry passed away on 09 Jun 2011. I first met Larry at Kindergarten at Douglas grade school sometime in the early 1940's. We have been good pals in the interveining 70 plus years. We had great fun in school at East. Sadly several other of our pals have gone on. Larry and I went Uranium prospecting one summer during the boom. What a great time. We made a few trips to California, more great fun. Karlla (my wife) and I had the great privelidge to be at Sandra and Larry's wedding in Las Vegas. I took Larry on an all-night trip to the offshore oil well drilling platforms off Long Beach once when he was visiting. Larry stayed with us for a few weeks after getting a job at Douglas Aircraft in Long Beach, mid 50's I think. I will miss my very good friend and our phone calls every month or two. It was a previledge to have known Larry and to have been his friend
