Carolyn Mork Child, 49, a special wife, terrific mother, grandmother and sister, re-turned to her Heavenly Father on Dec. 14, 2001, of heart failure.

She was born Dec. 23, 1951, to Robert and Marlene Smith Mork in Salt Lake City, Utah. Married F. David Child, Jr. on Jan. 19, 1983 in the Jordan River Temple. Active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She had a strong testimony of her Lord and Savior. Served in Scouting. She was a computer specialist and loved to help others do their family history. She loved to travel, snorkeling and the Caribbean Islands. She had a joy for life. She touched all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband; children, Josceline (Danny) Barrow, Aimee (Jeff) Dunn, Adam Child, Jeremy Child; five grandchildren; father and step-mother, Robert and Lynn Mork; mother and step-father, Marlene and LeRoy Herron; sister and brothers, Rolene (Robert) Shoop, Dale Mork and David (Barbara) Mork. Preceded in death by a sister, Christie Mork.
