I have incredibly happy memories of Debbie. We were good friends in both junior high and highschool. Debbie was class historian at Olympus highschool and designed at least one of the yearbooks. She had a fabulous sense of humor, was a very talented artist, and a beautiful singer. I am so sorry to hear that she passed away. I had hoped somehow to see her, but lost track of her whereabouts many years ago. Her father managed a Thrifty drugstore, I believe on 7th East (or perhaps 13th East). He was always very generous to Debbie and I and occasionally let Debbie drive his glamourous convertible sports car. On of my happy memories of shared time with Debbie was sitting in that car in the Olympus parking lot and listening to the Beatles. I'm so sorry that we couldn't visit with each other later in life to share memories of those happy times! If anyone would like to tell me a bit more about her life, I would love to know more. I lived just down the street from Debbie and had a lot of neighborhood contact with her until we all graduated from High School.
She loved and was obsessed with the Beatles in the days when we about 13 years old. The neighborhood gang did a lot of hanging out in front of Deb's house on the corner of our street off of Marilyn Dr. and Viewmont St.
She was a very talented person and pleasant to be around..
