Patricia DeeHicks 1951 ~ 2004  Patricia Dee Johnson Hicks passed away July 31, 2004, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Pat was born November 10, 1951, in Salt Lake City, Utah the daughter to Harold Elvin and Dorothy Helen Frazier Johnson. She married Bryan Kent Hicks April 25, 1981 in Salt Lake City, Utah; graduated from Olympus High School, 1970; attended the University of Utah after which she worked for Zions Bank for 24 years, and during that time she reached the highest executive level of any woman in the organization. After retiring from banking, she founded with her husband a successful multi-national corporation and ultimately became president and CEO. Among her achievements she was recognized as Business Woman of the Year by the members of her trade, and acknowledged as one of the Top 50 Business Women in the State of Utah. Served on numerous committees and boards, wrote industry editorials for national publications. She was involved in charities, fund raising, and was key in establishing an organization for alcohol and drug rehabilitation. We love you and you will be missed by all whose lives you have touched. You truly were the wind beneath our wings, our selfless servant. Survived by her husband, Bryan; daughters, Lizzie (Brandon) Mackay, Muggs Hicks; mother, Dorothy Johnson; brothers and sister, Jack (Annette) Johnson, Diane (Daniel) Lindberg, Charlie (LuAnn) Johnson, Douglas (Jody) Adams; grandchildren, Hannah, Addie, and Chance Mackay; sisters-in-law, Cinnie Witt and Chris Blevins; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and her Snugz family. Preceded in death by father Harold Johnson. Funeral services will be held Wed-nesday August 4, 2004, 12 noon at the Cottonwood 4thWard, 5565 South Neighbor Lane (1610 East). Friends may call Tuesday evening from 6-9 p.m. at the Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East, and at the church Wednesday morning from 10:30-11:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Mt View Memorial Estates. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to the Salt Lake Interfaith Hospitality Network, 802 W. 800 S., SLC, UT 84104. Funeral Directors, Holbrook Mortuary.

Patty, we'll miss you at this reunion, but I think you'll be there in spirit. I CAN HEAR YOU LAUGHING!!
