I've had a rewarding career that has connected me with some amazing people and great opportunities since high school, largely tied to agriculture, land management, and policy: Utah Farm Bureau (11 yrs); Utah Legislature (7 yrs); Utah School and Institutional Trust Lands Administration (18 yrs); Utah Land Trusts Protection and Advocacy Office (2 yrs and counting - looking to retire soon!).

Best part of my life's story is I married an amazing woman and have five children and 11 grandchildren.

Fond memories - not just from high school, but also grade school and junior high. Thanks to those of you who influenced me for good.

Loved wood shop with Mr. Christensen. The modular scheduling system we operated under resulted in me spending more time skiing and playing around than I’d like to admit. Finally got serious with my education in college at Utah State, where I earned my bachelors in range livestock management and masters in economics.
