RIP Bulldog. You were so tough on the football field I was so scared of you in practice. You did a great job of intimidating me at all times trying to make me tougher. Under all your toughness was a really fun and funny guy that I'm glad I could call a friend. I enjoyed the summer we shared at an apartment pool after high school. What a blast! Go Rams!
The comments that have been written by everyone on this page about Barb after her passing have a common theme that has so eloquently been expressed and that I too share. Barb was a friend to everyone and made you feel you were her best friend. She always had that smile and friendly way about her in high school and apparently throughout her full life. Barb and I shared a table in Mr. Newby's art class and I got to know her much better. We talked and laughed like we were old friends after that and she made my high school life much more fun. My condolences go out to her family which obviously loved her and will for all eternity.
Ernie was such a fun guy to be around in high school. We were in the same Typing class and got to know each other well at that time. He was the type of guy I liked to be around because he wasn't a loudmouth showoff. He was quiet but had a great sense of humor and kept me in stitches. We became even better friends our senior year because we both played on the football team and had fun doing so. I didn't maintain contact with him after high school but it sure sounds like he had a great life and was loved by his family and friends. RIP big guy you made my life a little brighter in our formative years.

Alan was one of my favorite people at Highland. I got to know him playing basketball on the sophomore team. He sprouted up, perfected his shot, and was an integral part of our State Championship team our senior year. He was quiet and unassuming except when he was on the basketball court. He was tough and very confident and wanted fiercely to win. He was very friendly to me always and I just hope he lived a happy, healthy life despite passing away too soon.
Louise was a brilliant student and a very cute girl. I didn't get to know her well but she was always so nice to me. RIP

I was able to go trick-or-treating last night because I found a great costume. I went as a 25 year old bodybuilder.
