Kristine Potter Robinson

1947 ~ 2023

Salt Lake City, UT-Our loving Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Friend, Kristine Potter Robinson, passed away while surrounded by her loving family, on April 19th, 2023. After a long battle with cancer, she has found peace. Kris was born November 6th, 1947 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Paul Francis Potter and Nedra Hansen Potter. After graduating from Highland High School in 1966, she married David Lewis Robinson on Sept 21, 1967 (later divorced). Kris and Dave had 2 boys, Sean David Robinson and Adam Lewis Robinson. Sean was born in 1969 in Salt Lake City. After their marriage, Dave joined the U.S. Army. He and Kris were stationed at various posts during his military service, including Panama, where Adam was born in 1970.

After raising her two sons, she was able to pursue a degree in Accounting from the University of Utah. She graduated Cum Laude in 1984 and held various accounting positions throughout her career. Always a fixture at Adam and Sean's baseball and football games, Kris became an expert scorekeeper for baseball teams while Dave often coached. She loved being "Grammy" to her four grandchildren and "AK" to her great nieces and nephews. A hands-on Parent, Grammy and Auntie and she loved doing arts and crafts and being silly with the grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her sons Sean Robinson and Adam Robinson, grandsons Alexander and Daniel Robinson, granddaughters Jane and Alice Robinson, sister Karen Butterfield, brothers, Kirk (Diana) Potter, Kim Potter, and Kelly (Mary) Potter, half brother John (Lisa) Potter and half sister Paula (Gary) Hamm. She's preceded in death by her nephew Christopher, sister in law Suzy, parents Nedra and Paul.

We're so very grateful for the care she received from Dr. Nitin Chandramouli and his team at Utah Cancer Specialists. We were particularly touched by the gentleness and respect with which she was treated by the Nursing and Hospice group at St Mark's Hospital. Thank you also to Dr. Gary Garner at Utah Cancer who helped keep her comfortable.

A Celebration of Life was held on April 29th at the Cottonwood Country Club for family and friends. Her wishes were to have her ashes buried at Memorial Gardens close to her Mother. We love you mom, You and your sweet, kind nature will be missed.

The family suggests donating to the charity of your choice in lieu of flowers.
