After graduating from BYU, for about 15 years, we moved around between Hawaii and California building LDS chapels. We had 6 children and lots of adventures. A highlight of this period was that I was a youth speaker for the church, traveling extensively to speak, and was recorded and sold through Covenant Recording. We settled in Irvine, Orange County, California for 35 years, where I was the office manager for our construction company. For 15 years I had a fun upbeat children's performing group. I was never a "soloist" singer, but I loved music and children, and I had lots of energy! We put on over 1000 shows throughout Southern California. I retired from Kids Are Music in 1998 and started Clear Creek Family Ranch with my Dad and sisters. It was 2 miles east of Zion National Park. We spent over 14 years putting on family reunions and youth conferences and camps. After we sold the ranch, I started "Surf and Sun, Family Fun"... and bought and rented, built and sold beach houses on Balboa Peninsula. Many were used for family reunions. In 2010 we retired and started going on missions. We are currently serving our third mission in the D.R.Congo, where we are the church's representatives overseeing the construction of the new LDS Kinshasa temple. As most of you would agree, our most special moments are spent enjoying our 26 grandchildren. We have faced challenges in our family, big and small, but as the sign on my fridge says, "Life Doesn't Have to Be Perfect to Be Wonderful!"
