I served my LDS mission to the California North Mission from May 1969-May 1970. June of 1972 Becky Bradshaw and I were married and had three kids. I crammed four years of college into 6 1/2 years and graduated from U of U in 1977. After graduation I continued to work in the grocery business. Becky started to suffer from the end stages of type 1 diabetes. She had a kidney transplant in 1978 after Colleen was born and passed away in Sept 1980. Debbie had been a widow with two girls when we married. We had been neighbors and friends. In 1982 I accepted a job as a manufacturer rep for Kraft Foodservice that brought us to Boise, Idaho. I had a Hogi Yogi franchise from 1995-2005 when I closed the business and semi retired and have been a school bus driver 12 years. Debbie retires this next year after 26 years as a 8th grade English teacher. We have twelve grandchildren.

I first met Marla in Mr. Rowley's history class. She sat behind me and to the left and would talked to me, but since my hearing wasn't very good even back then I would have to turn to face her so that I could see her as she talked to me and without exception Mr Rowley would tell me to stop talking and turn around. Marla thought that was always so hilarious because I never did the talking. She is responsible for me getting interested in Becky Bradshaw. Long story but you all know how that ended. Marla and Becky were best friends growing up and Marla and Darrell Cheney were our double dating partners on numerous occasions, in fact Marla was one of Becky's bridesmaid. I haven't seen her since Becky's funeral but have great memories of our times together.

I haven’t look at the reunion site for quite sometime and just now saw your best wishes for my birthday last February and want to say thank you. Yes, Garfield was a few moments ago but at the same time it seems like yesterday. My wife and I went to Tucson last April to attend our granddaughter’s mission farewell and went to see Dick Bartholomew. He and his wife lives in my daughter’s stake. I took him some photos I took back on the last day of class in the fifth grade, brought back a lot of memories. There were photos of Dick,
John Williams, Blake Hammon, Robert Dance and many others. Next reunion I’ll have to bring them.
