Ronald Chris Wailes, son of Richard R. and Mary B. Wailes passed from this earth on January 6, 2012.
Born December 27, 1955 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Raised in Salt Lake City and Holladay, Utah. Graduated from Olympus High School in 1974. Ron went to work for his parents at Transport Tire and later worked in auto sales. At the time of his death he was acting as the primary caregiver for his father and as the agent for his father's rental properties.
He was preceded in death by his mother Mary. He is survived by his children: Brooke Roylance (Chris) and Cody Wailes, his father Richard R. Wailes, brothers: Richard (Kathe), Collin, Doyle (Jayme) and sister Janice Lucherini (Robert). He has two granddaughters , Brytan and Adriana.
Ron loved sports and excelled in baseball, softball, basketball and golf. He was considered a natural at sports as he was able to play any sport he tried extremely well the first time he attempted it.
A viewing will be held at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East 10600 South, on Tuesday, January 10th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, January 11th at 2:00 PM at the same location, with a viewing from 12:30 to 1:45 PM. Following the services, internment will be at Larkin Sunset Gardens cemetery.
