Connie was a good friend of mine and we hung out all the time. We worked together at my mom's snack bar in the Highland Bowling Alley for a few years. We lost track of each other over the years, but would reconnect every now and then. She loved to do karaoke and bought a great sound system to do that. I know that her and her husband, Ken Dixon, would go out every week to local karaoke spots and sing. She died of some flu complications on Christmas eve in 1999 at the young age of 50. I miss her.
