Robert "Bob" Baker
February 14, 1949 ~
November 25, 2024

Heber City, UT- On November 25, 2024, Bob passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loved ones and his fur babies after enduring many years of difficult health issues. Bob was born to Robert H. Baker and Jessie James Baker on February 14, 1949, in Salt Lake City, Utah. He married Kenna Sue Riggs and together they had two sons; later they divorced. On April 17, 1976, Bob married Paula Hendricksen, sharing 48 years together, welcoming their only daughter and two more sons. Later, they opened their home and their hearts to raise an adopted son and their granddaughter.

Bob grew up with his brother and two sisters in the Canyon Rim area and went to Skyline High School. At a young age he loved spending time with his dad under the hoods of cars. That passion continued into his adulthood and he became a master mechanic, working for several major dealerships throughout the Salt Lake Valley and Heber Valley. Bob tried to pass his passion for mechanics onto his sons. The passion for cars was passed onto all his boys, but the mechanical bug was shared only with his son, Doug.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Russell, sister Rebecca, his daughter Danielle, sons Jerremy, and Doug. Survived by his wife Paula, son Shayne (Joni), son Tony, son Terry Worthen and granddaughter Amanda Baker, 12 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and a sister Bonnie (Bill) Mayne.

The Family would like to express their sincere gratitude to all their friends and family for their continued love, prayers, and support during these difficult times. They would especially like to thank Heber Valley Dialysis Staff, Rocky Mountain Care Center, Enhabit Home Health and Dr. Brian Lofgran for their amazing care.

According to Bob's wishes, no final services will be held. THE END.
